Football Fans and police don’t mix. Everywhere we go fans complain about police systems, repression, doped up charges, and generally a lack of respect for the culture. But Sweden is special. This is a country where attendances are incredibly high for the quality of football. Where fans regularly put on pyro displays without incurring major fines or repressions, and where the officials openly admit that the atmospheres are the most attractive part of the league. We attended AIK – Hammarby, 1st vs. 2nd and the biggest Derby Sweden has had in years.
