Berwick-upon-Tweed is the most northern town in England. They have a football team there called Berwick Rangers who play at Sheilfield Park.
Despite being in England, the football team play their league and cup football across the border in Scotland! I believe it’s due to the distance!
They’re a lot closer to the teams of Celtic, Rangers and Hibs than they are of Chelsea, Arsenal and Southampton!
They now play in the Scottish Lowland League but have played in the SPFL (Scottish football league pyramid) as lately as 2019.
