USA hooker Joe Taufete’e immense form for the Eagles in June 2018 during their matches against Russia at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver and Scotland at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.
Taufete’e’s tackle busting ball carrying ability get over the gainline was superb and he also made some big hits in defence too. Over the two matches he scored four tries, made 67 metres ball carrying, and beat 14 defenders. He now has 12 tries in 16 tests for the USA, which is just 3 from the front row record of 15 held by former Ireland hooker Keith Wood.
